Welcome
Desert Sky Archers is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching, training and promoting archery in all forms.  With a home at Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Arizona, Desert Sky Archers can offer a variety of spaces to learn and master archery.  From the indoor facility to the FITA outdoor range an archer can practice and train for target archery.  The Field and 3-D ranges provide an opportunity to master archery in the outdoor environment of the Arizona desert landscape.

Desert Sky Archers promotes archery as a family activity and will offer eight-week sessions of classes to both youth and adults at beginner and intermediate levels.  Individuals completing one class level are encouraged to register for the next level.  The instructors with Desert Sky Archers will be able to work with archers who wish to hone their skills in this sport and possibly go on to competitive level archery.

For youth, we encourage you to become part of our JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) program.  JOAD is recognized by USA Archery as a means to educate and encourage our youth archers for competitions locally, nationally and internationally.  JOAD level divisions exist at nearly all major archery tournaments locally and nationally.

For more information about Desert Sky Archers, contact Club Director Lynn Clinton Van Patter at director@desertskyarchers.com or 623-910-1269.
